Composition Two Genres, I think I gave it a name but, I would say it’s about the same thing as my inquiry based essay, but I shorten my question and made it more precise. “How has depression affected this generation?”. My last writing for this class, wasn’t as impressive in my opinion, but my drafts were something I noticed had changed compared with all my previous drafts. My theory of writing has stayed the same especially now. I’m still invested with the way of writing since it has a form of freedom of speech, and can be changed anytime, all it needs is practice. With this in mind I didn’t want to change anything yet till I start to struggle ,so I can see my flaws. I have chosen two genres which are blogs, and a video( Ted Talk, Podcasts, etc…). I chosen these two types of genres since they are both easily accessible and can be found in the internet and media. Also, I though that it would be easier for me to reach to my audience. The audience I previously had were doctors, and people with depression, so I made more precise. My audience now is young adults from college and Highschool since those are times when they become more matured and beginning to experience a series of events that will affect them in a bad or good way. As a conclusion, my two genres are blogs and videos. Since it would be easy for me to reach my audience. My audience is young adults from High school and College. Previous generations had much more resilient than current generation to handle their emotions. Overall, I hope many people can overcome their depression without drugs, which I think will make them learn something about themselves that makes them valuable.
